Local mustaches do good, look even better

I just wanted to say thanks to the small but dedicated group of growers we had out this year for Mustaches for Kids Vancouver. The economy’s been hit hard lately and mustaches are feeling the effects just like everyone else.  Despite that, we had 7 growers (plus 1 remote in India… outsourced fundraising) raise a respectable $1,924 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of BC and Yukon.  Top fundraiser Shawn McCann deserves a special nod and a pat on the back, and we provided one with a Wii system and games prize pack from the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Fantastic work, Shawn!

However, the real story on Thursday at the ‘Stache Bash was young Colin “what’s that on your lip?” Fraser who upset a crop of bushier, fuller mustaches to prove once and for all that mustache “is more in the heart than on the face”.  Well done, Colin!
